LEAGUE RULES
- Rule 1: Games will consist of a 3 minute warm-up followed by two straight time 22 minute periods plus 1 minute intermission between periods.
- Rule 2: Once the goaltender freezes the puck, there will be a whistle and the offensive players must clear the zone (blue line). The defensive team will then take the puck out of the zone but can be fore checked by the other teams once they've cleared the zone.
- Rule 3: Blue line delays offside will be called. There will be no red line.
- Rule 4: There will be no icings. Continuous play will apply.
- Rule 5: If a puck is deflected out of the arena, there will be a normal face-off in the place nearest to the where it went out. If the puck was intentionally shot out, a delay of game penalty will be called.
- Rule 6: All penalties will result in a penalty shot (Hockey Canada Rule Book).
- Rule 7: There will be no appeals as all referee calls will be final.
- Rule 8: During a penalty shot the following format will be used:
All on ice players will line up on the redline and be down on one knee while the player who the penalty was infringed by would perform the penalty shot. If the goalie stops the penalty shot or the shooter shoots wide, there will be a face-off outside the blue line.
